Setting up Uniform Listings
Access: Menu Administrators
There are two ways to set up uniform listings on Kindo, depending on whether you need to track stock levels and which reports you plan to use. If you don't need to track stock, you can use choices for sizing. If you do need to track stock, each size needs to be set up as a separate item.
Use this setup when you have unlimited stock or are not tracking inventory. You can set up a single item with sizes as choices.
All sizes at the same price
Add each size as a standard choice — the base item price applies to whichever size the family selects.
Example: A school sweatshirt available in sizes S-XL, all at $45.00.
Different prices across sizes
Use priced choices to set a different price for each size within a single item, or create separate listings for each price point — whichever suits your reporting needs. Set the base item price to $0.00 when using priced choices for uniforms.
Example: A school jersey where sizes S-M are $40 and L-XL are $50.
Use this setup when you have a limited supply of certain items and do not want to oversell. Each size of each item must be set up as a separate listing so stock can be tracked individually.
Example:
- Shorts — size 4
- Shorts — size 6
- Shorts — size 8
If you are setting up multiple similar items, use the duplicate icon to copy an existing item and adjust the details — this saves time when creating listings that share the same setup.
