How to refund an order from Connect Page

Access: Manager rights

Managers have special rights on the live shop site, which allows them to access the Connect page, where they can refund a Kindo Shop order.

If you don't currently have access to our Connect page, and would like this functionality, please email our Helpdesk -helpdesk@kindo.co.nz



1.    Log in to the Shop site and select the Connect tab.




2.     Type the students first name into the Member field.

3.     Select the correct student, and a list of all their transactions will appear on the screen.  This includes orders, top-ups, refunds and cancelled orders, and has the most recent order at the top.

4.    Select the Refund option option from the 'More actions' drop down next to the purchase you wish to refund.


5. If the Refund option is faded, this means the order is too early to refund, and you should be able to cancel instead.



5.   A pop-up box will appear with all the individual items made within that purchase. Put a tick in the box or boxes next to the items you wish to refund.



6.    You can adjust the dollar value, if it is a partial refund, and in the comment field enter the reason for the refund.  Then select Submit.

  The funds will be deposited back into the customers myKindo account.

All refunds appear on their transaction history, on the date the refund was processed, and also under the original purchase.

Refunds will appear on your weekly summary reports and invoice also.
