Kindo/SchoolBridge Integration - Caregiver Process

Flow 1: Starting in Kindo

1. Login and Discovery

  • Caregiver logs into Kindo platform
  • Payment request appears on home page, showing SchoolBridge label providing transpacrency about time needed for completion.

2. Payment Selection

  • Caregiver reviews payment options based on request settings:
    • Full Payment Required: Must pay complete amount
    • Partial Payments Allowed: Can choose payment amount
  • Adds selected payment amount to cart

3. Form Completion

  • Cart action opens SchoolBridge page seamlessly, no additional login required due to single sign-on integration
  • Caregiver completes required form fields

4. Return to Kindo

  • Upon form completion, SchoolBridge automatically redirects back to Kindo
  • Item shows in cart, ready for checkout
  • Caregiver lands on Kindo home page
  • Full platform effect maintained for both caregivers and schools
Notes
POS transactions will require caregivers to complete form in SchoolBridge but payment will be recorded for teachers in SchoolBridge.

Flow 2: Starting in SchoolBridge

1. Form Access
  • Caregiver logs into SchoolBridge
  • Form request appears in their dashboard
  • Caregiver accesses and completes form requirements

2. Payment Prompt
  • After form completion, caregiver required to "Submit and Pay"
3. Payment Platform Transition
  • SchoolBridge redirects to Kindo seamlessly, no additional login required due to single sign-on integration
  • Payment popup appears automatically

4. Payment Confirmation
  • Popup displays payment options based on request settings:
    • Full Payment Required: Shows total amount due
    • Partial Payments Allowed: Allows amount selection
  • Caregiver confirms payment amount
5. Cart and Completion
  • Selected payment amount automatically added to Kindo cart
  • Caregiver redirected to Kindo home page
  • Full platform effect maintained for both caregivers and schools

The SchoolBridge integration is available for Payment Request (Payable) schools with Kamar.  Please contact the helpdesk if you would like to learn more about enabling this feature for your school.
