How to set up Xero Rapid Integration with Kindo

To request access, email helpdesk@kindo.co.nz.

The team will reply with a few quick questions and let you know when setup is complete.

Once enabled:
  1. A Xero tab will appear in your Kindo admin menu
  2. You'll receive a confirmation email
  3. You can complete the initial setup and start using the integration

Before you begin

Make sure you have the following set up in Xero:

  1. Kindo (or The Growth Collective) added as a contact
  2. A general ledger code for Kindo fees
  3. A general ledger code for the Kindo clearing account

Initial setup in Kindo and Xero

This setup only needs to be completed once. 

  1. Log in to Xero

  2. Log into Kindo Shop 

  3. From your Admin Home page, select the Xero tab

  4. Select Connect to Xero.




      5. When prompted in Xero, select Allow Access.




Complete the one-time settings to ensure Kindo is linked to Xero


  1. In the Xero tab, select Settings.


      2. Select Use this contact and choose the Kindo contact already set up in Xero.
         (If no contact appears, search for Kindo or The Growth Collective - however you have entered it in Xero)

      3. Select Save after choosing the contact.



      4. Select the Xero ledger codes for:

  1. Kindo fees
  2. Kindo clearing account



      5. Select Apply to save and return to the Xero tab.


      6. Log out and log back into Kindo to ensure settings are saved
          (this is only required the first time).

Once complete, your Xero tab will display invoices if you are already live.
