Access: Payable Administrators
This page provides an overview of Kindo Payables and Xero Rapid Integration, including links to the relevant support pages for the initial set up of Xero Rapid Integration, creating a draft invoice for Xero, and viewing and approving your draft invoice in Xero.
Background
Payable Administrators have special rights on the shop site which allow them access to the Payable pages and Xero page.
To request Payable Administrator rights, please contact the Kindo Helpdesk.
Once we have set up the additional Xero pages, you will get a confirmation email and can begin the setting up process.
Accessing the Payables Pages and Xero Page
You can access the Payables Pages and the Xero page by selecting the admin button from the mykindo drop down box.
Once on the admin home page, you can set this to be the default page that opens when you first log in to the shop site, by selecting 'Set as Home Page'
Kindo Xero Integration provides a facility for pushing payment information directly into Xero as a draft invoice. This enables you to quickly check and accept the invoice, ready to match the deposit received for reconciliation.
Initial Setup of Xero Rapid Integration
Setting up the link between Kindo and Xero - you will need to have both Xero and the Kindo Payables Pages open
This step only occurs once

Creating, viewing and approving a draft invoice
For Xero in Kindo - in three easy clicks of a button. For more details, please click
here.
You will need to have done the following steps prior to the integration set up:
- Our company set up as a contact in Xero (Kindo or The Growth Collective)
- A general ledger code in Xero for 'Kindo fees'
- A general ledger code in Xero for ' Kindo Clearing Account'
Our weekly reports and invoice which get emailed to you, can simply be attached to the invoice in Xero. This way come audit time, you have all the information at your fingertips.
GST on the draft invoice comes from Xero (not kindo).
Your general ledger codes in Xero need to match what you have entered as the general ledger codes for the items in Kindo.
