Where has the split option gone from Payable Apply?
Access: Payable Administrators
Manual Splits (by using the drop-down option on Payable Apply when applying to an individual student) can be time consuming as they require removing payables applied by a rule, and re-adding them at an individual level. As such, we have removed this as default for schools to limit confusion.
The quickest, and safest, option for managing those students who require split payables, is our Auto Split feature.
Manual Splits can be more work but can useful in those situations where caregivers are
able to manage the majority of payable payments between themselves, but there are some items (e.g. an expensive
extra-curricular sport) that require a split in that individual situation. Please refer to: Applying a Payable for split families
If you do use the manual split feature, we are able to add the option back onto Payable Apply. Please let the helpdesk know.
