Duplicating an item on your menu

This article shows you how to duplicate an existing item on your menu using the Ezlunch/Kindo Menu Management (Partner) Site. Duplicating an item is useful when you’re creating a similar product, as it allows you to copy existing details and make small changes instead of starting from scratch.

Watch the short video below for step-by-step guidance, or follow the written steps to duplicate an item.

Step-by-step

2. Click the category that contains the item you want to duplicate (for example, Cold Mains)

3. Locate the item and select the duplicate icon next to it

4. Update the duplicated item's details as needed, such as:
    1. Item name
    2. Price
    3. Description or ingredients
    4. Dietary information

5. Ensure the item is unique

6. Select Save & Publish or Save Draft

Notes
Important Notes:
  1. Each item on your menu must have a unique name
  2. If two items share the same name, you'll see an (!) error and won't be able to save until the name is updated
