NZQA Charges in Kindo for Foreign Fee-Paying Students
If your school uses KAMAR and has Foreign Fee-Paying Students (FFPs), NZQA charges may be loaded into KAMAR automatically. These charges won't appear in Kindo, but can be added in a few simple steps.
Instructions
- Create a payable in Kindo for the NZQA charge amount.
- Go to the POS page and locate the student.
- In the Payer list, select the student's School Managed Account (SMA).
- Select Contingency fund as the payment type and confirm the payment.
Additional Information
Once the charges are captured in Kindo, you can optionally remove them from Kamar. The auto-loading of NZQA charges for FFPs is a toggleable setting in Kamar - it is not a requirement to keep them there.
