Key Differences between a Kindo Shop item and a Payables item

We’ve created this summary to help highlight the major differences between loading an item through Kindo Shop and loading an item with Kindo Payables for those administrators just starting their Payable journey.

  • You either apply an item through Kindo Payables  OR you load the item in Kindo Shop. (Never in both)
  • Optional items are created on Kindo Shop – like lunches, PTA fundraisers, production tickets, uniform items.
  • Compulsory items are loaded through Kindo Payables – like activity fees, technology fees, class trips, camps.
