Applying Payment Requests to Kamar Pre-Enrol Students
Access: Kindo Payables Administrators
Kamar schools can easily add charges to pre-enrolled students by enabling a special setting.
Steps
1. Contact the Kindo Helpdesk and ask for the Kamar pre-enrol setting "include next year students" to be turned on.
(This setting is normally kept off during the year to prevent pre-enrol students being included in charges for events that don't apply to them.)
2. Create a payment request item in the Kindo Payable Catalogue (e.g. 2026 Donation).
3. Apply the payment request to all students or to specific groups as you normally would.
Note: Pre-enrol students will appear in Kindo the same way they do in Kamar (for example, with "Room 0" set to pre-enrol).
4. Important: In February (or once rollover is complete), remember to contact the Kindo Helpdesk and ask for the pre-enrol setting to be turned off again.
