Price & GST

Access: Menu Administrators

The Price field on your items can be altered at any time, with the price change effective as soon as you do a Save & Publish.
NOTE: for food items it is recommended that any price changes are held off until the term break. Otherwise if a user has ordered an item in advance, they will pay the original price, NOT the new price.

GST defaults to GST Inclusive, so for GST Exclusive items (e.g. donations), you need to tick the GST exempt box.

If an IRD approved donation receipt is required, tick the Donation receipt box so that users will receive an IRD approved receipt.

If unticked, users will recieve our standard electronic receipt.

eTAP items will appear under your Payable to School category.

The price is taken directly from eTAP, so you can not alter it.

GST defaults to GST Inclusive, so for for items like Donations you need to tick the GST exempt box. Tick the Donation receipt box if your users need IRD approved receipts, otherwise our standard electronic receipt will be sent.

Allow part payments is an option for eTAP integrated schools. The default is to allow part payments, but you can change this by unticking this option. If you do allow part payments, you also have the ability to set a minimum payment amount for each installment.

Your Kindo Payable items appear under your Kindo Payables category.

You create the price and the GST status when you first create the item and changes should not be made after the Payable has been applied.

IMPORTANT: You can not change the GST status of an item once it has been applied to a user.

If a donation receipt is required, tick the Donation receipt box and users will receive an IRD approved receipt, otherwise our standard electronic receipt will be sent.

Allow Part Payments is the default for all Kindo Payable items. If you would like this option turned off for an item, please get in touch with our Helpdesk and they can assist you with this.

NOTE: Changing the price in the item editor for Kindo Payables will affect ALL existing payables, including those accounts that have already been paid in full. If you would like to alter the price, either create a new item or apply the new price individually to students.
