Moving an existing item into Kindo Payables
Access: Payables Administrator
Schools that are already using Kindo Shop and are now adding Kindo Payables can move items into the Kindo Payables category without having to recreate them.
1. On the partner site, select item editor and ensure you are operating as the correct supplier.
2. Select the category of the item you wish to move, to bring up the list of items in that category.
3. Select Move category from the icons on the right. A list of all the available categories will come up.
4. Select Kindo Payables from the list and click on the arrow to move the item.
5. Save & Publish to make the item visible in your Kindo Payables pages. The item is now ready to be applied to individual students, groups, classes or the entire school.
Once an item is in Kindo Payables you CANNOT delete it.
You can move items that you no longer need into Kindo Payables Historic instead.
You cannot change the price of an item once it has been applied to families.
Changing the price of the payable in the Item Editor will affect ALL existing payables, including on those accounts already paid in full.
To change the start price using actions in Payable Status, please visit: Using actions to change charged amount. If you want a different price in Term 2, either create a new item OR apply individually and adjust the amount for each (see notes on Payable Apply for individual students).
You cannot change the name of a product once it has been applied to families.
If you want to use a different name for an item, use the Duplicate Item button to copy all the details, then change the name and save as a new item.
You cannot change the GST status for an item once it has been applied to families.
If you want to change the GST status, use the Duplicate Item button to copy all the details, then change the GST status and name and save as a new item.
