Access: Service Administrator
There are two different types of suppliers:
An insource supplier is an internal supplier, one in which you (as Service Administrator) are also a Menu Administrator for and therefore can also create the categories and individual items.
An outsource supplier is usually an external supplier like your local sushi shop or an internal supplier that you are not a menu admin for, therefore can’t create the categories for individual items.
For example:
Demonstration School has Sport Registrations, Lunches, Uniforms, Trips and Donations all available on its Kindo Shop.
Jess is a Service Administrator for Demonstration School, so sets up all the home page Service icons for their shop.
Jess is also a Menu Administrator for the Demonstration School Office supplier (who load donations and trips) and the Demonstration School Uniforms supplier.
Sara is the schools’ sports coordinator and is a Menu Administrator for the Demonstration School Sports supplier.
Tom from the local café provides lunches to the school and is the Menu Administrator for Tom’s Café supplier.
When Jess sets up the home page services, she will use the insource option to add in categories for Trips, Donations and Uniforms because she is also a Menu Administrator for these suppliers.
She will use the outsource option for her Sports registration and Lunches home page services. She will first select the supplier, and then their categories.
These are outsourced because Jess is not a Menu Administrator for these suppliers.
