We have moved to an online payment and permission form system called Kindo. Kindo will be our preferred method of payment, and we will be encouraging all our families to create an account. This will make our processes even more efficient for our office and finance staff and allow more flexibility for families with payment options.
Our Kindo school shop can be accessed from our school website and is available to families 24/7, anytime, anywhere.
There are several different features to Kindo:
- Kindo Payment requests will be allocated to students and may be payment requests for: camps, trips, curriculum contributions etc. and will appear on our caregivers’ home page on myKindo. Payments include details, summary and links for further information for caregivers. They may also have compulsory permission forms or questions for parents to fill in before they make the payment.
- Our Kindo School Shop has items such as show tickets, fundraising, uniform, sports socks etc. available to purchase by our caregivers without needing to come into the office. They may include questions with choices and options include details, summary, and links for further information for our caregivers including collection or delivery information.
- Our Community Shop extends invitations to our wider community to join us and support our School. We can open shop items (such as Performances, shows, fundraising items or events) to our wider community e.g. grandparents, other whanau, local businesses, or our neighbours.
What do I need to do to help make this successful?
· Ensure that the membership of any Groups you are responsible for are kept updated as needed. This means that costs can be assigned correctly.
· Prior to an upcoming event / trip, please let the office know all the details so that they can add the costing, information for families and permission/registration questions into Kindo.
· Ensure that any notifications that go home mention that payment must be made via our Kindo Online School Shop – newsletters / emails can refer to the school website or can contain the link to our School Shop.
Staff Ordering
· You can
create an account, set up your details and add yourself as a member, using our school as the location.
· If you already have an account with your children at other schools, you can still join us by adding yourself as a new member under ‘my details’, in your MyKindo account.
