How to create a Bitly link
Access: Service Administrators
Bitly links are recommended for your social media posts. These are a shorter more manageable links that you can generate easily at any time.
- Open up a new tab with the bitly address: https://bitly.com/
- In another tab, open up the partner site and select the service manager.
- You can either use the Generate shareable link from the main service manager page, which will give you your general kindo shop link,
- OR you can select a service first, to use the generate shareable link that is specific for that service.
- When you click on either of the generate shareable link options, a pop-up box will appear with the link, and a copy option. Select copy, then done.
For dated services (generally food services), you will also get the option to select a specific date, so you can encourage families to order for that particular day.
6. Click on your Bitly link tab, and paste in the copied link to the box where it says Shorten your link.
7. Click on Shorten, and your shortened link will appear in the original box where you pasted your link and the shorten option with change to copy.
8. Select copy to copy your bitty link into your document, or social media post.
