Editing a package

Access: Service Administrator

Packages allow the Service Administrator to group together items from different suppliers, while also allowing the user the freedom to add or delete individual items from the package if necessary.

1. There are two ways to access the Package Editor.

1a. Select Package Editor, then skip to Step 6 below.

1b. Alternatively, using the service manager to access packages by following the next steps.

2. Select the service that contains the package you want to edit.

3. Select add / remove categories.


4. This will bring up the add/remove categories supplier list. Select packs.


5. This will bring up the list of packs you have created. To edit one of these, select Manage Packages.

6. The Package Editor will open. Choose the Category that holds the Packages you want to amend.

7. Add a completely new package to the category by selecting Add Package OR go to step 8 to copy another package and then rename or amend it.

8. Use the Manage Packages drop-down box next to each package to copy, rename, move or delete.

* Copy - allows all the information to be copied into a new package which you can then rename.
* Category - allows you to move the package into another category.
* Rename - allows you to rename the package.
* Delete - allows you to delete the package.

9. Ensure you have the correct package selected. The items that are in that package will come up on the right hand side. You can edit the quantity or add/delete items within the package.

* Quantity - allows you to change the number of that item within the package.
* Remove - use the red cross to delete any items no longer required. 
* Up/Down - allows you to change the order of the items in the package.
* Add Item - add more items to the package. 

10. Selecting Add Item will bring up the supplier box. Select the correct Supplier and Menu Category.

11. The items from that category will be listed. Add the new quantity required for each item. Press Save.

10. Repeat the process for items from other categories and other suppliers. Then press Cancel to get out of the supplier box.

11. Once you have amended all the packs select Save & Publish.


12. The package will immediately show the new/deleted items on your shop site.
