School specific cart offers is a feature that allows you to add any regular service as a cart offer.
Many Kindo schools have “Pay It Forward” initiative to help support other students experience camp and team sports. Or there may be a fundraising event which is needing support such as new netball hoops. Having these as services on Kindo help raise awareness amongst caregivers and can also be added to display at the
time of cart, making it even more visible.
Your school
controls the images, items, and values so you can make it as relevant
as possible. For example, “Camp contribution for another student”. As
parents shop for items or carry out transactions for their own students,
they can select a ‘pay it forward’ donation amount or item to be added
to their cart. They then pay for this alongside their other items when
they check out.
This money will be coded and paid to the
school automatically, for your allocation towards items, school trips
and events that some other families within their school might find it
hard to pay. On service manager, in the right-hand admin menu, you will see the 'Cart Offers' option.
Adding the cart offers is an easy two-step process:
Create the service in the regular way
Click the 'Cart Offers' button, set your preferred options regarding Kindo offers, find the service, and save
That's it!
If this option does not show for you, you may have previously requested cart offers to be disabled for your school. If you wish to update this, please contact the helpdesk.
Schools can choose between both the Kindo gifting offer and school specific service, one or the other, or neither.
When selecting which service to show at cart, you will have a drop-box showing available services;
Any active, non-dated services will be available to choose from.
Only non-dated services that do not have daily cut offs can be added to Cart Offers. Dated services (with daily deliveries) will not be available for Cart Offers.
All stock restrictions will be respected, and any Options, Choices or Questions will still show for caregivers to respond to.
Please note only one school specific cart offer can show at a time. If you add a new service, the current one will automatically be removed.
Orders will not be placed against specific students (or their classes). You will receive the purchasers name and contact details.
