POS topup

Access:  Kindo Payables Administrator

If a caregiver would like funds added to their Kindo account balance (for example using cash or bank transfer), you can use the Top up feature on the POS page to add the funds to their account.

Top-ups add funds to a caregiver’s Kindo balance for making payments in Kindo.

Top up a caregiver's Kindo balance

  1. Select POS from the main Kindo School Admin Home page.

  2. Start typing the student’s first or last name until a list of students appears and select the correct student from the list.

      

  1. Under Payer, select the caregiver account receiving the top-up. 

            Ensure there is a Kindo account icon next to their name  . This confirms the caregiver has

            an active Kindo account and can receive top-up funds.

      4. Select Top up  to switch from the Payment screen to the Top up screen.



      5. Enter the required details:
  1. Amount
  2. Payment type
  3. Date funds received
  4. Notes
      6. Select Confirm top up.




      The funds will be added to the caregiver’s Kindo balance and can be used immediately for payments.

      Top-ups will appear in:

  1. POS Reconciliation report
  2. POS History Report
      and will be included in your Kindo accounting reports.


Note for Xero users

Record POS top-up funds against your Kindo Clearing Account.

These transactions will be matched when reconciling your Kindo invoice in Xero.
