Adding Questions for Kindo Payables

Access: Kindo Payable Administrator

You can add questions to Kindo Payable items to create customized online forms for collecting important information.

Creating Questions for Payable Items

1. In the Create Payable screen, locate the Questions section at the bottom of the page

2. For each question, you can configure:

   • Question ID: Your column header for internal reports (not visible to users)
   • Type: Choose from these options:
     
     • Text - Provides a text field for detailed responses
     • Date - Only accepts valid date entries (perfect for birth dates)
     • Yes/No - User must select either yes or no
     • Agree - Used for consent and permissions where users must acknowledge terms
   • Question: Enter the text users will see
   • Required: Toggle ON if the answer must be provided

3. Use the + Add Question button to add more questions
   

4. Use the grab handles = (parallel lines) to the left of each question to drag and reorder them up or down
   

5. You can also remove questions by using the trash icon
   

   
   
   

Example of how the questions will look at checkout:

           

• Questions marked as Required must be answered before users can proceed.
  
• If you also accept POS payments, ensure you have a process to capture these form responses (for example using a hard copy paper form).
